Digital Marketing Audit
The DEEP Audit
Key Takeaways
- Our free Visibility Scorecard tells you where you stand. The Deep Audit tells you exactly what to do, in what order, with the reasoning behind it.
- It is a paid, standalone deliverable. You keep it, and you can hand it to any agency, including one that is not us.
- Covers website and conversion, search and AI visibility, paid media, reputation, tracking, and competitors.
- Built to be actionable by someone else. That is deliberate.

Don't you do free audits?
Why we charge for this
Most agencies give away a “free audit” that is a sales document wearing a lab coat. It finds exactly the problems that agency happens to sell solutions for, and it stops being useful the moment you decline the proposal.
We do that too, sort of. Our free Visibility Scorecard is genuinely useful and genuinely free, and it exists to show you where you stand in twenty-four hours without a call.
But there is a real thing between “here is where you stand” and “here is a retainer,” and it is a proper diagnosis. Twenty or thirty hours of somebody actually going through your accounts, your competitors and your data. Nobody gives that away, and any agency that claims to is either not doing it or building the cost into a proposal you have not seen yet.
So we charge for it. You get a document you own. If you hire us, the fee comes off your first month. If you do not, you still have a plan, and you can take it to whoever you like.
Unlike national SEO, local SEO is about geographic dominance — owning the top spots in your specific market so the right customers find you before they find anyone else.
Our Approach
What the audit covers
Most SEO agencies run the same playbook for every client. We don’t. Your market in Myrtle Beach has different seasonal patterns, different competitor profiles, and different search behaviors than Florence or Charleston. Every strategy we build is market-specific from day one. Google released a year of AI Mode search data showing that “near me” is the number one follow-up question people ask about local businesses. We broke down what it means for SC businesses in our analysis of Google’s AI Mode data.
Website Conversion
Speed on real devices, mobile experience, the contact path, form friction, and the specific points where visitors are quitting. Every finding tied to a page and a fix.
Search & AI Visibility
Where you rank, where you nearly rank, what is blocking indexing, and whether your business is structured so answer engines can verify and quote you. Includes schema, Google Business Profile completeness, and citation consistency.
Paid Media
If you are running ads, a full read on wasted spend, targeting, negative keywords, conversion tracking accuracy, and whether the landing pages deserve the traffic. Frequently the fastest money in the whole document.
Reputation
Review volume, recency and sentiment against the businesses beating you locally, plus how you are responding.
Tracking
Whether you can currently tell which page, ad or campaign produced a phone call. This is broken more often than anything else on the list, and it invalidates every other number you have.
Competitors
Three named local competitors, what they are doing that you are not, and where the gaps are.
Ideal Clients
Who should buy one
You are about to hire an agency. Walk into those meetings knowing what is actually wrong instead of evaluating three different diagnoses of a problem you cannot describe. See our eleven questions to ask a marketing agency.
You just fired one. Find out what was actually done and what was actually left undone.
You are spending real money on ads and cannot tell what it is producing.
You are planning a rebuild and want the new site to fix the right things.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the free Scorecard?
The Scorecard is a fast read on where you stand, delivered in twenty-four hours with no call. The Deep Audit is a full diagnosis with account access, competitor analysis and a prioritized plan. Different depth, different purpose. Start with the free one.
Do you need access to my accounts?
Yes, read-only access to Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile and any ad accounts. We can work without it, but the paid media and tracking sections get much less useful.
How long does it take?
Usually seven to ten business days from the point we have access.
Can I really give this to another agency?
Yes. It is written so you can. We would rather be the agency you chose after seeing the whole picture than the one you hired because we controlled the information.
Will you just recommend your own services?
Some findings will point at things we do, because we sell the services local businesses tend to need. Where the right answer is something we do not do, we say that and tell you who to look for.
What if the audit says everything is fine?
Then we say that too, and you have spent a small amount to confirm you are not leaking money. That is a good outcome. It has happened.
Not ready for the paid version?
Free scorecard. No pitch. No pressure. A clear, honest look at your Google presence, website performance, and local competition — with specific steps you can act on today. Delivered within 24 hours.
